How is my typing speed and accuracy calculated in this test?

Your speed is shown in Words Per Minute (WPM), where every 5 characters typed (including spaces) counts as one word, divided by the time taken. Accuracy is the percentage of correctly typed characters out of the total you typed, and most exams also report Net WPM, which deducts your errors from your gross speed. Aim for at least 90-95% accuracy, because a high WPM with heavy mistakes can still fail the qualifying standard.
