Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has released four recruitment notifications on 29 July 2026 for direct recruitment to 7,437 posts across the Police, Special Protection Force, Fire Disaster Response Emergency & Civil Defence, and Prisons & Correctional Services departments.

This is one of the largest uniformed-services recruitment drives in Telangana this year. Candidates who wish to apply must do so online only, through the official TSLPRB website www.tgprb.in. The exact online application dates will be announced separately through a press release.

• Officer-level posts (Sub Inspector, Reserve Sub Inspector, Assistant Sub Inspector, Station Fire Officer, Deputy Jailor) — a graduate-level qualification is generally required.
• Constable-level posts (Police Constable, Fire Fighter, Warder, SPF Constable) — an Intermediate / equivalent qualification is generally required, with additional trade requirements for Driver and Mechanic posts.

Medical Check-Up Advisory

TSLPRB has advised candidates to get themselves examined by a Civil Surgeon before applying, to confirm that they meet the prescribed Physical and Medical Standards. This is to avoid disqualification at a later stage of the recruitment process.

1. Latest SC Community Certificate — for SC candidates local to Telangana only, with sub-classification of SC Group I, SC Group II and SC Group III, issued by the Competent Authority of the Government of Telangana.
2. Latest EWS Category Certificate — for EWS candidates local to Telangana only, issued by the Competent Authority of the Government of Telangana on or after 1 April 2026.
3. Latest Non-Creamy Layer Certificate — for BC candidates local to Telangana only, issued by the Competent Authority of the Government of Telangana on or after 1 April 2026.
4. Local Candidature Certificates — for candidates local to Telangana only, i.e., Bonafide Certificates from 1st to 7th Class or Residence Certificates, whichever are applicable.
5. Special Category Certificates — for candidates local to Telangana only, wherever applicable.

Along with these, candidates should keep their educational certificates, recent passport-size photograph, signature, and a valid photo ID ready in the prescribed format.
